Have a look into the new section in the Knowledge Center of the ZeroPollution4Water Cluster: Our section “Policy Publications” brings together policy-oriented publications developed by members of the ZeroPollution4Water Cluster. These outputs translate scientific evidence and practical experience into clear, accessible insights to support decision-makers, stakeholders, and practitioners in addressing current and emerging water-related challenges.

Our policy publications include joint and project policy briefs, white papers, and a consolidated case studies report, covering key issues such as groundwater protection, drinking water quality, and the management of disinfection by-products to help strengthen trust in tap water.

The latest Policy Brief has been issued by SafeCREW on 28 February 2026. It is titled “Managing the transition from non-disinfected to disinfected drinking water supply systems“. Based on SafeCREW’s main findings, this policy briefs provides evidence-based guidance for transitioning to disinfected drinking water networks, supporting decision makers and utilities in managing DBPs in water treatment and distribution systems.

As a one stop shop, the new section shall facilitate the transfer from research to policy impact. The next joint ZP4W Policy Brief is already in the pipeline – keep your eyes open!
