he ZeroPollution4Water (ZP4W) Cluster, coordinated by Water Europe, successfully participated in EU Green Week 2026 with the online event “Zero Pollution for a Resilient Water-Smart Society and Economy: From Innovation to Implementation – Investing in Nature through Water Systems.”
The event brought together representatives from the European Commission, Water Europe, researchers, policymakers and stakeholders to discuss how innovative solutions can accelerate Europe’s transition towards a more resilient and sustainable water future.
Project representatives from MAR2PROTECT, AQUAMON, LIFE PRISTINE, NIAGARA, NPower, D4RUNOFF and WATERSENS showcased innovative approaches to water pollution prevention, water quality monitoring, water reuse and circular resource management. The discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration, promoting science-based policymaking and scaling successful innovations from pilot projects to real-world implementation.
